Father & Son Day

Nick works a lot. Usually he pulls 12-hour work days, and most weeks he  has 1, sometimes 2, extracurricular activities or work-related events that prevent him from coming home until after Xander’s bedtime. This past weekend Nick also had to work 6 hours at the brewery on Saturday morning, and next weekend Nick’s going away for 4 days for a boy’s fly-fishing & golf weekend. In short, Xander was in need of some Daddy time. So on Sunday morning, Nick took Xander to Six Flags for some ferris wheel, tea cup, and carousel riding fun!  Xander’s favorite thing about the day was the ferris wheel and the corn dog on a stick lunch he got to have. Nick’s fav thing, besides spending time with his buddy, was making a new record at the basketball skill game (rolling eyes). They took along the camera so they could show me all the fun they had on their Father & Son day! Nick’s such a good daddy!!
