My favorite fall recipe

I love this time of year. Mums, pumpkins, fall foliage, Halloween, apple picking, cooler temperatures, bon fires, and baking! I make this delicious recipe every fall. The smell of it cooking in the oven is simply divine. From my kitchen to yours.

 

 

 

 

Pumpkin Bread

1 3/4 C flour

1 1/2 C sugar

3/4 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp grd cinnamon

1/2 tsp grd nutmeg

1 C canned pumpkin

1/3 C water

2 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1/2 C vegetable oil

Confectioners’ sugar for dusting

ingredientsInstructions:

Combine all dry ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well. In a different bowl, combine pumpkin, water, eggs, vanilla, and oil. Mix well. Add dry ingredients slowly and beat thoroughly. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 75 minutes. Cool before removing from pan. Dust with confectioners’ sugar. ENJOY!!
